Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine is proud to announce that we will be continuing and expanding our partnership with the Surfrider Foundation San Diego. This year the coastal cuisine restaurant will be contributing more than ever before by donating $25,000 to the cause.
Throughout the month of June, Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine will launch a month-long initiative supporting World Oceans Month and donating a portion of all proceeds to the organization. Since its inception, Lionfish has implemented proper recycling practices from front of the house to back of the house – all while proactively helping to reduce the harmful impact on San Diego’s ocean and beaches.
Being an influential part of the San Diego community as a locally driven restaurant featuring fresh-catch cooking and seasonal ingredients, Lionfish is committed to continuing their sustainable practices to remain ocean-friendly. “We are extremely proud to be able to continue our partnership with Surfrider Foundation San Diego by expanding our efforts to protect our oceans and coasts,“ says Andy Masi, owner of Clique Hospitality, “We take pride in being a registered Ocean Friendly Restaurant and doing our part to reduce single-use plastic waste including banning plastic straws from our restaurant while raising awareness in the community.”
