Can you even call it a seafood dinner without a light start? We’re here to talk about our soups, vegetables, and greens that are a perfect way to set the tone and get your palate ready for the best seafood dinner you can get in San Diego. It’s easy to highlight all of our seafood offerings, but sometimes the starters are the unsung hero. We couldn’t be the best San Diego Seafood restaurant without our soups, vegetables, and greens. Think of the entrées as the star of the show, and our starters as the supporting actor! You simply can’t have one without the other.

We of course invite you to check out our full food and drink menu, but today we’re going to be highlighting our soups, vegetables, and greens!

Kuri Squash Soup – Roasted Red Kuri Squash, Roasted Apple, Candied Spiced Pumpkin Seeds

Kale Salad – Carrot, Sesame Seed, Soft Poached Egg, Parmesan, Avocado, Pickled Shallots, Tahini Dressing

Tomato and Cucumber Salad – Heirloom Tomato, Izakaya Cucumber, Basil Seeds, Dashi Pickled Onions, Petite Shiso, Amazu Rayu Vinaigrette

Sashimi Salad – Tuna, Salmon, Hiramasa, Bass, Cucumber, Seaweed, Sesame, Dashi Pickled Onion

Now that that’s out of the way!

We hope you’ll also stick around for one of our famous cold plates, such as our Big-eye Tuna Pizza with truffle mustard, red onions, and micro shiso. Or if you’re looking for a hot plate, you can’t go wrong with our Chicken & Shrimp Siu Mai with scallion, soylantro sauce, and hot mustard.


We wouldn’t be a San Diego Seafood Restaurant without our specialty nigiri flights, and selection of oysters either, now would we? Or if you want to have a fresh catch, then be sure to take a dive into our Robata Diver Scallops with pork belly, roasted mushrooms, komatsuna greens, shiitake bacon, shiitake tentsuyu sauce, and negi.


And don’t worry, if seafood isn’t you thing, but you’re tagging along with good company, we offer a 36oz Prime Tomahawk Chop with crispy potatoes & onions, LF1, horsey ranch, and koji chimichurri that will make you wonder if we’re even a seafood restaurant to begin with.
